Every Time DeAndre Hopkins Scores, He Finds His Blind Mom And Gives Her The Ball

Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins has a tradition in which he finds his blind mother in the stands and gives her the ball after he scores a touchdown.

Deandre’s mother, Sabrina Greenlee, lost her vision in an acid attack in 2002.

Hopkins was just a child at the time.

Although she attends nearly every Texans home game, she has never been able to see him play in the NFL. But that doesn’t matter.

“He doesn’t care that I can’t see,” Sabrina said. “He just wants me there.”
