Hurricane Irma Evacuee Attempts To Locate Missing Dog With Billboards

Hurricane Irma Evacuee Attempts To Locate Missing Dog With Billboards –

As Hurricane Irma approached her home in Fort Lauderdale, Forida, Karen Calcano and her deaf senior dog Geordie evacuated to Raleigh, North Carolina to take shelter with family.

Sadly, on September 14, Geordie escaped from the Riverside community in Northeast Raleigh. Heartbroken and fearful for Geordie’s life, Calcano has hired a pet tracker, placed a billboard ad, and offered a $3,500 reward.

The Calcano family has reason to believe that Geordie may have been picked up by a good Samaritan. They are doing everything in their power to reach this person to show that the elderly Chihuahua – who disappeared while wearing a thunder shirt – is loved and missed.

An image of Geordie wearing his dapper bow tie will flash on digital billboards along US 1 and other highway locations in Raleigh. They include a contact number as well as the reward amount.

Calcano promises she simply wants her dog back – no questions asked.
